Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Variance Tracker (the "App"), a monday.com application. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Variance Tracker connects to your monday.com account to track changes in your board data over time, and to show you variance analysis (what changed and why) and timeline/due-date insights. The App requires read-only access to your monday.com boards, account, and user information, as described in the permissions you approve at installation.

2. Eligibility

You must have a valid monday.com account and the necessary permissions on that account (or be granted access by an account admin) to install and use the App.

3. Subscription and Billing

• The App offers a 14-day free trial, followed by a paid subscription (currently $15/month), billed and processed through monday.com's own billing system.
• Subscription management, billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by monday.com, not directly by us. Please refer to monday.com's own billing terms for details on payment processing.
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Your Data

• Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
• You retain all rights to the data on your monday.com boards. We do not claim ownership of your business data.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any data on your connected boards with the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the App's underlying systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation, or attempt to access data belonging to other customers

6. Availability and Changes

• We aim to keep the App available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App depends on monday.com's own platform and APIs, which are outside our control.
• We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or that any variance calculations or historical reconstructions will be perfectly accurate under all circumstances — particularly where accuracy depends on data or history retained by monday.com itself (such as Activity Log availability, which varies by your monday.com plan).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to business decisions made based on the App's data or analysis.

9. Termination

• You may uninstall the App and delete your data at any time, including via the self-service "Delete my data" option available in the App's Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate access to the App for any account that violates these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
